Preclinical Development
CHP-105 is currently under investigation
for the treatment of urinary tract infections. According to a pilot
study, using a bacterial isolate responsible for a human clinical
pyelonephritis case, the drug significantly reduces the bacteria
count in the kidneys, bladder, and urine, added either intravenously,
subcuteneously or orally.

Other
urinary, gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infection models
are being established and potential collaborators are being
identified. |
